This iconic barn was built in 1919 for Grant Anderson, whose family had fished and farmed in the Little Sister area since the 1870s, and then started the famous Little Sister Resort.  The barn was used initially to house dairy cows, and in later years served as a site for square dances.  When the resort was sold after a 102-year run, the new owners of the property, Lance and Bridget Crane, donated the Barn.  Thanks to a major community fundraising campaign, still under way, the Barn was moved here, intact, in March 2022.  The plan is to convert the structure into a year-round Center for History, Education and Community, with space for artifacts, research, and community meetings.
