The Sister Bay Bays baseball team has been a dominant force in the Door County League for the last decade, but the sport has been a central local pastime almost as long as the village has existed. Join the Sister Bay Historical Society on Tuesday, July 22, for a look at the role that baseball has played in local history and culture in a special presentation and roundtable discussion.

Myles Dannhausen Jr. of the Peninsula Pulse and the Door County Pulse Podcast (and possibly one of the County League’s worst all-time players) will lead a discussion with Bays past and present about why the fledgling league is so important in Sister Bay, including historical images, old ballfields and friendly (usually) rivalries.
