DESCRIPTION:Corner of the Past\, 10310 Fieldcrest Road\, Sister Bay\n\nTues
 day\, June 16 from 7pm - 8:30pm\n\n\n\n\nIn the early 1900s\, tourism bega
 n to be a growing business in Sister Bay\, and alongside the early hotels 
 and resorts\, a new form of tourist accommodation was created — the vaca
 tion cottage.  Some of the older hotels added cottages\, but a large part
  of the growth came from families running small cottage and motel operatio
 ns.  New SBHS Curator Michaela Kraft will unveil a new exhibit highlighti
 ng the history of this era of tourism\, and she’ll be joined by descenda
 nts of some of the families who were involved.\n\n\n\n
